- Fixed the app crashes when visiting uYou's settings, which usually happens on early versions of iOS 15 (15.0-15.1.1) (#10).
- Fixed the app crashes while watching Shorts (#253).
- Fixed the app crashes when customizing Your channel's avatar/banner (#125).
- Fixed missing download Shorts buttons (#170).
- Removed ads between Shorts (#263).
- Fixed the mini player bar of uYou randomly show up.
- YouPiP v1.7.9:
- Removed workaround code for iSponsorBlock (1.0-15) when its controls are displayed on the video overlay
- Added zh_cn localization.
Attention:
- Workaround for missing the video's timestamp in Watch History/Playlist: Go to uYou's settings > Other Settings and Disable "Remove YouTube Ads"
- YTUHD is not stable atm. You might encounter stuttering, heat, and battery drain..., especially when playing at 2160p (4K) quality.
- It's impossible to fix deep-link (aka Open in the YouTube App). Luckily, there are several workarounds here.
