I'd kill for this app to run on Linux! KDE version, specifically.
The problem with the one existing software to do this on Linux is that you either have to type in a console command, or the one GUI app doesn't fix Contrast, only brightness. For me, this is a blindness issue, so I need to set contrast to 0, or I cannot read screens at all. This is the only thing keeping me from ditching Windows!

Unfortunately, Twinkle Tray is overwhelmingly designed for Windows specifically. Adapting it for other platforms doesn't make a lot of sense. Nor do I have the time or interest in doing so. It'd make more sense to create a new app from scratch, using libraries for that OS (like libddcutil) and with an OS-agnostic UI in mind.
Also, the amount of hate I'd get over Twinkle Tray being Electron-based would skyrocket. 🙄
I hope you're able to find another project that fits your needs. Given how many DDC/CI apps there are on Windows/Mac, I'd be surprised if there wasn't something on Linux that isn't at least better than the CLI version of ddcutil.
