When I leave my computer for a few hours and it has not entered hibernation/sleep mode, when I use it again, the ambient brightness has usually changed a lot. At this time, after I adjust the brightness, it will be reset to the brightness before adjustment after a delay of 1 to 2 seconds. This problem persists in many versions. I use Windows 11.

Try turning off General -> Troubleshooting -> Auto-apply brightness. It sounds like that's kicking in right after you're making your changes.

This happens to my Surface Laptop 3 with Windows 10 21h2 ltsc too. I will try the method to see if solved

Edit: works like a charm

Edit 2: OK it is not. The problem persist
