Feature Request: Override HDCP When Connected to Sidecar Display #3835

As the title says, when an iPad is connected as a mirrored or extended display via Sidecar, HDCP prevents the use of streaming services. Only a black screen shows up, though audio plays.

Is it at all possible to change how Sidecar displays are seen by the OS or streaming services/apps like AppleTV+, Netflix, etc.?

Sadly this is not possible. HDCP does not work on virtual screens like Sidecar (or BetterDisplay's virtual screens). :(
