It seems there is no way to use the screen in landscape format with micropython, only in c. This is despite this item being marketed as for pico use and it being shown in all photographs in landscape.
Can we please have the micropython code for landscape?

Hi - no, my python skills are not that well-developed and I'm not sure this is even something I could work out myself without a lot of digging, which I don't have time for at the moment. I switched focus on the other parts of my project for the moment :)
I've considered using an ePaper display for my Pico project (coding in C), but I can't find a single clear example that gives me enough confidence to commit to a Waveshare product. The code here seems fragmented, and not particularly well-maintained... Have I missed something?
