I think it will be nice to have information on version detail page who pushed that gem version and maybe it is good idea to store also "yanker" of that gem.

That would be useful in situation where multiple owners exist for gem and you're curious who made a gem push / yank.

It is probably not possible to fill this information for current versions. :(

What do you think about this feature? I would like to implement this if this proposal will be accepted.

We do already store the user who yanked the version (from the last year or
so). See the deletion model.

@dwradcliffe Ahh, I missed that. Thanks. What do you think about storing version author also?

I guess having the information available in itself will not hurt, for projects that do have more than one user. Perhaps for projects that have only one user, no change is necessary - the default could be assumed to be the only one who could have pushed perhaps, since nobody else would be likely to have pushed towards the same gem-release.

simi: On a belated note, how do you suggest to make this information available? A text with the name next to the user? A hover-action for on-mouse over? Etc... (just curious, don't let me distract you folks from the main discussion at hand)

Given twbs/bootstrap-sass#1195, this feature is important for auditing.
