Convene mods solves a very specific problem, but we don't use it very often. I think of it as an early exploration of a broader feature category that I'm now thinking of as the Moderation Queue. I'm still working on a clear picture of what this means, but I think it's an expansion of mechanisms like "multiple reactions = action taken"
Rands Leadership slack has a concept of a "reactji channeler", where specific channels exist as a destination for messages that have had a certain emoji applied to them. This might be a good primitive to work with here as a starting point, with some sort of bot in those channels for specific, custom actions.
