I have maybe possibly a strange request, but I'd like to use the dark color for the Firefox Home new tab page, but still keep using the Light preference in Website Appearance. While I prefer to use dark themes when I use Firefox, I like to use the "Light" themes for most websites, this is the option under Language and Appearance>Website Appearance under the General settings tab. I am also the maintainer/creator of the Gnome Adwaita GTK4 Dark theme add-on for Firefox, but it was created using Firefox Color, so the theming is very, very limited of course. One thing I like about my theme that I am able to change is no matter the preference of Website Appearance selected in the settings (light/dark/automatic), I can always set the new Firefox Home tab page to whatever color I like, which in my case is the dark background, the same color as Gnome Web uses essentially. I've been using your Gnome theme for the last 2 weeks and absolutely love it. I just have this one issue that I'd like to address and fix if possible.
Is there any config I can edit within your theme that I can use the Light website appearance option, but still keep a dark color for the Firefox Home new tab page?
The reason I want to use a dark color background is because when I set the website appearance to white, it makes the new Firefox Home tab page white and hides all the website text which makes it unable to read, so I'd much prefer the a dark color option. Please let me know if there's anything I can adjust. I don't mind if it's a config that gets overwritten each update, I can always just fix that if needed.
