Help buying GPU(s)

Hi,

I am in the market for a GPU to power my AI journey and I am wondering generally whether it is possible to combine two or more GPUs for better performance and specifically whether two A4000s will perform better than one A5000 (assuming they can be used together). For example, would two A4000 allow me to run larger models (because they have more RAM between them than the A5000)?
