Comments on PR review and acceptance

Firstly, I want to thank the community for the enthusiastic uptake of GraphRAG! We've gotten a lot of great feedback and a number of helpful PRs.

You may have noticed that PRs often sit unmerged for some time, and I wanted to add some clarification on our approach. Microsoft takes responsible AI seriously (see our GraphRAG AI FAQ). This includes detailed review and testing of code that invokes generative AI to produce content. As maintainers of an open-source library, this often puts us in a situation where we can't directly accept a PR because the content of the PR may warrant additional reviews. You'll notice this in particular with PRs that modify prompts, change model configuration/calls, or edit dependencies. Please be assured that we read all of the PRs and take them seriously, and will do our best to include the relevant suggestions in our dev planning. If we make subsequent changes as a result of a PR we will do our best to give credit where it's due, even if a user-submitted PR wasn't merged directly.
