The current version of OpenBSD is 7.6 and 7.4 has beeen deprecated two weeks ago. This means packages are no longer easily installable and the box is practivcally broken now.

An update to 7.5 seems to be prepared, maybe it would be better to switch direktly to 7.6. Is there already a planned update or are you accepting contributions for an update?

Yup, can confirm. No borgbackup testing on openbsd7 currently due to this.

Hello,

We are using the generic/openbsd7 image and our CI jobs are broken since 2 weeks:

2024-11-26T10:18:33.2985951Z ==> default: Machine booted and ready!
2024-11-26T10:18:33.7477647Z ==> default: Running provisioner: shell...
2024-11-26T10:18:36.8558700Z default: Running: inline script
2024-11-26T10:18:38.7223074Z default: https://ftp.usa.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD//7.4/packages/amd64/: no such dir
2024-11-26T10:18:38.7252294Z default: Can't find bash
2024-11-26T10:18:38.7401425Z default: Can't find rsync--

Please update the image to OpenBSD 7.6.

This is how the box can be fixed for now:

I see, https://ftp.eu.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD contains packages for all OpenBSD version.
Good idea, thanks!
