I've been working on a project where I need to combine structured outputs with tool bindings, but I'm struggling to get them to work together effectively. I’ve gone through the documentation and examples, but I still can’t figure out how to implement this seamlessly.

Hi,

I don't think you use them together, you pick bind_tools to register a tool with the tool-calling interface, or with_structured_output with a Pydantic object specifying the structure to have the output returned as a structured object. They are different and incompatible. See the documentation.
