Bug Description

The inline code blocks are not rendering correctly. The backticks (`) are displayed as plain text instead of being transformed into the appropriate code formatting. (example!)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Write an inline code block using backticks (e.g., inline code).

  2. Observe that the backticks are not transformed and are displayed as plain text.
