One behavior of mobile app is driving me nuts though. Refreshing the feed from the right side often minimizes dev to and opens Forem. The thing is, I refresh the feed more often than switch between different communities and sometimes when I want to get to the article I saw higher on the feed I end up minimizing dev to. It is so annoying that I lost all interest reading articles on mobile and do it on laptop.
Describe the solution you'd like
Make it so that refreshing the feed by dragging up a finger doesn't pull open the Forem explanation.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Definitely open to alternative ideas! I don't entirely know how we can offer the Forem prompt differently, but it seems clear that this is impeding functionality.

Could you please reply back to the user that wrote in suggesting they tap on the button in the lower end of the screen that reads "Add to List"?
Once they add their first Forem (DEV in this case for them) they will definitely find a better experience in this regard. They can always add/remove any other instance or stay solely with DEV on the app.
