Describe the bug
Any version of Android WebView render process crashing on mobile devices when animated dots are turned on a card.
Different WebView versions are crashing in different way. The latest version 137 is crashing with the screen freezes and popping up a message that the render process has crashed. The older that came on my tablet version 105 crashed by the entire screen going white.
This affects Fully and WallPanel the two most popular choice in dashboard browser.
Issue #662 related but was not marked as a bug.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create card with animated dots on Android tablet
  2. Wait 20-30min and WebView will crash

Expected behavior
WebView not to crash

Browser Console Errors
Not sure how to collect logs from WebView

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab TM-805
  • OS: Android 10 (LinageOS 17.1)
  • Browser: Fully Kiosk
  • Version

Additional context
I have tried many WebView versions, even very old ones, non of them worked.

Please make sure all of this applies and check the checkboxes, by writing "X" inside of them.

  • I understand that this is a channel for reporting bugs, not a support forum (If you need help configuring the card, go to: Discussions).

  • I have the latest version of the card installed.

  • I have cleared my browser cache after installing, updating and configuring the card.

  • The issue is not related to the UI-Editor not being rendered: "s.entries is not a function". This is a known bug, and is caused by Card Mod. Check the warning this readme section for more information on how to fix it.
