AFC version: 3.13.0
Device: GL502VML
CPU name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz
Description
After setting the temps to a different range outside of the default, in this case a very conservative 35 40 45 50 54 58 61 64 the fan seems to start high ~6000rpm for a short period of time before the temp climbs and then the fans stall and stay at ~4900rpm no matter the temp
Additional context
While the GL502VMK is tested my particular machine is not, though unlikely is it possible that the GL502VML doesn't work with this software?
Additionally I have considered that the output from the sensors is off but the sound is quite consistent with a fixed fan speed

Sorry, I was busy with my studies. Does get-temps return the same temperatures as provided in set-temps? Also, what you describe seems rather like the laptop temperature is somewhere between 35-64, hence keeping the ~4900 RPM. Did you try some load (e.g., 4K@60FPS video)?
Also, maybe @Errivincenz, the author of GL502VMK testing, could provide more information?
