Difficulty in downloading files

Hi.

I'm new to using objaverse and i think i'm not understanding what's happening within the tutorial. After running the tutorial on a local computer using a python file, i only get parquet files. i also tried to modify the directory where i store my files from ~/.objaverse to just ./objaverse, will that cause any problems?

When do i get 3D object files?

Additionally, i keep getting errors such as :

could not clone git hub repo or can't download stuff from thingiverse or symbolic link missing interrupting my download process.

Please advise.
