Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues and checked the recent builds/commits

What would your feature do ?

There are suggestions for enhancements to queue useability in the issues list, but none really seem simple/automatic enough.

  • Allow collapse of types of task; pending, generated into a single blob
  • Option to collapse by default
  • Move the running queue item at the top or bottom - if you have 30 generated images, and 30 more in the queue, you have to scroll halfway to find it

Proposed workflow

  1. Go to queue tab
  2. See single square containing all pending items - visually resembles a stack
  3. Click > or + or some other obviously-expander button
  4. All pending items are now visible - same as current behaviour
  5. Click V or - or some other obviously-collapse button
  6. Pending tasks are all in the one stack again

Rinse/repeat for history images.

Additional information

From Discord:

I think I understand how the queue images work (populating after completion). Might be better if the pending ones were minimized to a single line (or just one full "..." for the processing one)
