Doesn't show in full screen applications

Describe the bug

Works in desktop windows and on top of non-fullscreen windows but it doesn't work in fullscreen

Steps to reproduce

Go to full screen
Change the volume or any of the things

*edit: only happens sometimes. a restart will fix it

Expected behavior

It should show on top of full screen applications

Unfortunately not, I couldn't find any possible cause for it, neither a repeating pattern...
