helpful additional installation notes. May be incomplete, but a decent starter for 10.

I just reinstalled my machine. This is the process I went through. Host DOES NOT need cuda installed. Just Nvidia drivers.

ensure user has sudo
ensure kernel headers are installed
apt-get install pve-headers-6.2

sudo usermod -aG docker $USER
usermod -aG sudo $USER
newgrp docker```

stop any GUI you have running
```/etc/init.d/plymouth stop```

https://uk.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/525.116.04/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-525.116.04.run
```sudo sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-525.116.04.run```
driver install will fail due to nouveau if gui is running
ensure dkms registered to build new modules

```sudo update-initramfs -u```

reboot as nouveau has been disabled/blacklisted

add nvidia-container-toolkit repo

```apt-get update
apt-get install nvidia-container-toolkit```

```docker compose --profile auto up --build```

Then I went in to portainer and changed my output and data paths to where they were pointed previously

I don't really know what the best way to upgrade is tbh. if I do a pull and run the commands a again will it download loads of unnecessary stuff ?
