Newly installed extensions to not appear in the UI even after restart?

Hello!

I am trying to install extensions in the UI but they do not seem to appear even after applying and restarting the UI… how can I force them to appear in the UI?

I have been trying to get either of these two versions to install and correctly display the ‘blob drawing’/mask drawing mode

I managed to successfully install the extension- however it does not appear in the UI even after applying and restarting the UI…

I tried deactivating the original version of the extension also- but this does not make the new version of the extension appear in the UI

what can I do to force the UI to show the new forked version of the extension that has been installed?

I am using the colab version of the UI if that is relevant
