What would your feature do ?

Stable Diffusion is extremely impressive but presents grave risks for out-of-scope use. Models and code for Stable Diffusion have spread far and wide and any member of the public is capable of generating dangerous images. The FBI has reported a 40% increase in images depicting child exploitation and theorizes this is a result of the widespread nature of Stable Diffusion^[1].

I have created an extension that seeks to limit the harm done to children and other vulnerable classes through an innovative heuristic system. Automatic, can you include this in the extension index or maybe it can be merged into the WebUI?

Censorship will not end where you think it will end...it always keeps going in order to perpetuate itself. Not defending erotic photorealistic images of children here, but I will say the original idea between letting the government get involved with governing the internet was predated on stopping sickos and terrorists, and...well...look at it now. Didn't quite stop there did it?

tl;dr If you censor what you don't like, eventually down the road, what you do like will be the next to get censored after enough hills fall in consecutive order.

U.S. law mostly. Photorealistic images are as illegal as the real thing, which kind of leaves me with mixed emotions. For one, I get why for simplicity's sake someone would want to include that just to make it easier to prosecute, on the other hand, it's still a foot in the door effect that can easily be exploited to cover other areas that no one originally thought of. Kind of like how the income tax was supposed to be both temporary and affect only the ultra-rich, and now, because they keep voting to extend it without updating it to reflect modern-day times, it affects everyone. Keep in mind...sometimes what is legal or illegal just means the government has their fingers in it...kind of like how everything Hitler did was stupidly legal as far as the laws went, but everything he did was immoral and inhuman.

In short I remember when government interference was only for mah terrorism and mah pedophillia...and now thanks to a death of a thousand cuts, the government essentially owns it and can tell you what you can and can't do with it. I think, for the sake of freedom, an uncensorable internet is required today. Yes it will allow the worse of the worse, but it will also allow the best of the best, and if you don't like it...there is always social media where everything is curated along party lines by an over-bloated government busy bodies who thinks they know more than you do despite not being able to tell you what a woman is. :P

Anyway, the point here is that you might theoretically be opening yourself up to legal risk, depending on how several other legal points shake out along with any changes you might make to your program in the future.

Still, you've got to ask yourself who would install this. Certainly no one who wants to generate.... a pretty wide range of legal content, actually... would, but perhaps someone would want to use it to secure an open server. Except it's going to point fingers at the server operator, so that's not helpful. And it introduces a dependency on an external server, which isn't working, so that's an issue. So the open server operator is best served by not installing the obvious malware either.

I just saw this commit while reviewing their existing code. Straight up ridiculous and incredibly dangerous. I reported them to Github before they added this commit. Cyberes just dug their own grave by adding intentionally malicious code specifically designed to BSOD someone's computer.

The issue with that is I'm not sure what words GitHub will flag as "unsafe" (a little ironic, I'll admit). I was encoding the words to base64 but that was too much of a hassle.

For example, here is an example of what I have submitted to Cloudflare (Phishing/Malware):
Reported website: fbi.cyberes.net

Individual has written malicious code which collects PII from target's computers and submits the information to https://fbi.cyberes.net/

The PII collected includes:

- ip-address
- system information
- Webcam photo
- Network scan for open ports through network_scanner.py (trojan behavior)

This website uses Cloudflare as a proxy (and domain and maybe hosting by Godaddy. They will be informed as well).

Furthermore, the same script will download unknown data from this website which will be executed on the target's computer.

It is currently unknown what is hosted on the website as it is currently inaccessible (due to maintenance per the script author.)

The author claims the code is designed to "prevent exploitation of children" by automatically detecting the use of certain keywords by a target and reporting the target's collected PII to the FBI. Reviewing the author's code shows this to be misleading and deceitful.

Based on interactions with the script author on Github here: https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/discussions/6505, we can surmise the author is acting in bad faith and withholding complete details about these endpoints, what the prohibited/triggering keywords are, and where the collected data are actually being sent.

Additionally, the same codebase includes a function which intentionally crashes a target's computer.

While the latter code is not pulled from Cloudflare, other parts of the codebase involve Cloudflare, potentially making Cloudflare culpable for any negative impact caused by the malicious code.

the benifit of reply via (e)mail is that you have time to pick apart a reply with inline cites like so and not feel like you have to spin up dictation software and dump a pile of text from that. the latency that (e)mail forces is the most productive form factor and is the reason it continues to be relevent 60+ years after it emerged.
