Web UI, How to set it to dark mode?

Is there a simple way to set the UI to Dark Mode?
I see plenty of screenshots where people use a dark version, but I haven't be able to find any info in the documentation.

I can recommend "Dark Reader" for Chrome, it makes everything into Dark Mode. every website. its available on firefox too, and works with the webui

I would appreciate if the devs implement a native dark mode though. its always easier on the eyes, especially when using tablet or smartphone at night

Gradio uses your default browser theme.
Setting the commandline argument --theme dark sets the dark mode for the ui, so you don't have to manually append /?__theme=dark.
For more commandline arguments take a look at the wiki.

I have set set up --theme dark , following
EDIT webui-user.bat with notepad / Visual Studio Code
....
set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=--theme dark
...
SAVE
NEU START
.\webui-user.bat

For me, it always ignores the browser/system theme and defaults to "dark", so I ended up adding --theme=auto, which seems to work even though it is undocumented.
