Maintain original metadata when inpainting (settings option)

I find quite tedious having to copy a metadata from the original image to know exactly where it came from as every single inpainting using a random seed will get recorded in the metadata. A setting that can be turned on to stop replacing any metadata would be amazing to have. This is very useful if you are just fixing small stuff and not adding important things in general. I guess having both options would be ideal.
