WebUI not working

So I just installed automatic1111, and the webui sits there and does nothing. I get no error messages on the console. I get nothing. The buttons might as well be painted on.

I've included a screenshot of what's clearly some broken buttons, because only one of these should be showing, correct?

my guess is that some JavaScript related stuff is broken on the webpage
what browser are you using

Also, while I have an ad blocker on Firefox, I do not on Chrome.

in your consol logs I can see lots of [HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden 1ms]
it seems that all the javascript files are blocked for whatever reason
I don't know what's causing that but it is what's breaking your instance

move you install somewher else
and next time try loking at the issues tab

(not sure what I can do to make the issue more noticeable I've already pinned it at the top for about an year)

Any suggestions for things to try? I've already tried reformatting the entire computer and switching to a different distro.
