Running into an issue with xformers not working.
OS: Linux Mint 21.2
GPU: 3090ti
GPU Driver: 550.54.15
xformers: 0.0.24

Im pulling my hair trying to figure out why I get this error. Any help would be appreciated.

I have run with
export COMMANDLINE_ARGS="--reinstall-xformers --xformers --no-half-vae"
to try to reset it, but its the same result.

If that can help to install xformers easy for you? I have a 1070 + win10 and after a long time to find find how to install all that correctly I finally found. this solution. Include all need in a single line with the url to download. This will probably not work for you because you don't use a 1070 but that can help for the direction of your search. You probably have to change the torch version, the url and eventually the components but it's normally this way to follow. That worked perfectly for me. You can also open the folder on https://download.pytorch.org/whl to find all collection of download.

The line that worked for me:
pip install torch==2.1.2 torchvision torchaudio xformers --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu118

The pytorch page can also create a part of the url for you by clicking on what material you have https://pytorch.org/
You can start with the url pytorch give you, open the folder and see if xformers is here and add it as component in the line

Yes, I have done that as well. I honestly think its related to my nvidia driver setting, but when i reverted it didnt change anything.
