cudnn linux

I downloaded and extracted the cudnn 8.9.7 tar.gz, then copied all the files from cudnn ~/lib into ~/stable-diffusion-webui/venv/lib/python3.10/site-packages/torch/lib for about a 15% speed up on RTX 2060. I was expecting the setup to be a bit more complicated than that. Didn't delete/re-install anything or add/change any lines to files. Is there anything else that need be done , or is it that simple?
