When running the webui-user.bat I get a runtime error where it tries and fails to connect to https://github.com/openai/clip/archive/d50d76daa670286dd6cacf3bcd80b5e4823fc8e1.zip

Any insight into this one would help me greatly I followed a guide listed below. I was on step 7 where it says "After loading the model, it should give you a LAN address such as '127.0.0.1:7860'" but I instead got the above message.

Hi @Gpauxe , I have found the fix by installing it manually,
activate the venv environment
git clone https://github.com/openai/CLIP.git
cd CLIP
pip install .

It worked for me. best of luck

After looking over your instructions again I did all of that in a git bash because I'm unsure what a venv environment even is or how to activate it. If that is the issue then I'm just lost at this point. Thank you for your help so far.

A quick google later, a bit of figuring out which directory to put clip into (had it in the stable-diffusion-webui folder instead of the venv/scripts folder) and I think I have it working will update if problems happen but if not, thank you you're a life saver!

Please use \stable-diffusion-webui\venv\Scripts\python.exe to install, do not use your local Python.
