Copying an image from clipboard using Control + V to Inpaint doesn't always work now (have to keep trying and sometimes doesn't work at all), and sometimes it works fine, I think it depends on the aspect ratio of the image in the clipboard and the zoom the browser is set to. pasting to img2img always works good. Was wondering if anyone is having this with 1.4.0, maybe the problem is on my end but just want to make sure before reinstalling :)

Edit: After further testing and troubleshooting, I now know when it happens and you can easily reproduce the issue: just try Control + V any image from clipboard to inpaint while the mouse cursor is inside the Inpaint box (where it says "Drop Image Here"). It won't get copied to Inpaint, it's not a biggie but it was driving me crazy and glad I figured out how to reproduce it :D this small bug wasn't on 1.3.2

how do i directly update from 1.3.2 version to this one without fresh install? I assume it's not as simple as just copy and replace all.

just add git pull to the webui-user.bat (between call webui.bat and set COMMANDLINE_ARGS lines)
or just go to CMD, navigate to the A1111 folder and run git pull, it will update it.

That's the first thing i did, does not work this way. since its not a cloned repo. Besides, I only want the "stable" versions and not every push in between

IDK then, sorry. I am no expert with git or python but I am only sharing my experience, all I do is adding git pull to the bat file and it gets me from 1.3.2 (or whatever old version) to 1.4.0 and that's how I updated another PC just now and it worked the same way (actually updated me to 1.4.1 that released recently). Anyway I assume it's as simple as just copy and replace. Clone current A1111 to any folder and copy and replace. You can try this after making a backup of your current A1111 folder (without the models, outputs and extensions folders), I always experiment after making a backup and if anything goes wrong you can restore the backup (usually will be around 6GB without the models and extensions folders)
