VRAM usage with optimisations is the same?!

Hi everyone! Im on GTX 1650 (not Super), 4 GB of VRAM. My current launch args are: --medvram --xformers --upcast-sampling --opt-sub-quad-attention --no-half
And surprisingly VRam usage is nearly 4GB (i cant even generate an image bigger than 512x512). Without optimisations results nearly the same! How the hell does it happen?! And why it does nothing?!

with 1659 4g, use --lowvram if you want to go bigger, performance will be low
I belive you can go upto around 1024x1024
if you use Tiled VAE from https://github.com/pkuliyi2015/multidiffusion-upscaler-for-automatic1111
you shoud even be able to do 2048x2048

Oh ty for the answer. But medvram is not working for some reason, same 3.9gb usage. lowvram frees like 100-150mb more of vram... That's really weird because 2 weeks ago it was ok...
